Every YonoSIM eSIM ships with data roaming included, but your phone keeps roaming switched off by default after install. Just go to Settings and turn on data roaming for the new eSIM. Tip: leave your home SIM's data roaming switched off to avoid surprise bills from your home carrier.

For most travelers, a Standard plan wins. Travel data is spiky—one heavy YouTube day, three Wi-Fi-mostly days—and a Day Pass gives you a fixed full-speed allowance each day (typically 500 MB–2 GB) before it slows down. Yes—Standard plans and Day Passes can both be topped up. When you're running low, open My eSIMs, tap Top up data, and pick a package. You keep the same eSIM: no new QR code, no reinstall, and no losing what's left. Standard plans top up with a data bucket; a Day Pass tops up by days, so you just add the extra days you need.
