When should I install the eSIM?
Most travelers install 1–3 days before departure or right after landing. You only need internet (Wi-Fi is fine) to scan the QR; the eSIM activates once it connects to the local network.
Will my phone work?
Your phone needs to be eSIM-capable and carrier-unlocked. Check our compatible devices list to confirm yours qualifies.
Can I use hotspot or tethering?
Most plans allow hotspot/tethering, but speeds and fair-use limits depend on the upstream carrier. Check the plan details before you buy.
What if it doesn't work?
Contact us within 24 hours of activation and we will troubleshoot, replace, or refund where eligible. Digital eSIMs are otherwise non-refundable once provisioned.
Do I get a local phone number?
No — YonoSIM eSIMs are data-only, which is what most travelers actually need. Use Wi-Fi calling or apps like WhatsApp, KakaoTalk, or iMessage to stay in touch.
